About CEIYEE Foundation

My name is Margaret Elizabeth  Greene, founder of CEIYEE Foundation, and my journey began in the beautiful but deeply wounded nation of Liberia.

Liberia is a country filled with resilient people, strong faith, and incredible potential. But it is also a nation that has endured years of civil war, hardship, and loss. During those difficult times, many children were left vulnerable — without families, education, or basic necessities.

Witnessing these struggles left a lasting impact on my heart.

I saw communities trying to rebuild their lives. I saw children who deserved the chance to go to school, to feel safe, and to dream about their future. I also saw the strength and encourage of the Liberian people who refused to give up hope.

Those experiences planted a seed in my heart — a calling to help.

Years later, that calling became CEIYEE Foundation, a charity created to bring hope, practical support, and opportunity to vulnerable children and communities in Liberia.  When I started CEIYEE Foundation, it was not just an idea—it was a personal mission. I have personally sponsored children, purchased a six-acre plot of land in Liberia for the charity, and invested my own resources to give these children hope, education, and a safe place to grow. Most of our support so far comes directly from me, but I believe together, we can transform lives.

This is a journey of faith, sacrifice, and consistency. Every child we support reminds me that our mission is worth every effort.”

Our vision is simple but powerful: to help restore dignity and create opportunities for those who need it most.

Through CEIYEE Foundation we seek to support communities by:

• Helping vulnerable and orphaned children
   
• Supporting education and learning opportunities
   
• Providing access to clean water
   
• Building safe spaces such as schools, churches, and community facilities
   

Every project we undertake is rooted in compassion, faith, and a commitment to making a real difference.

Liberia is not defined by its past struggles. It is defined by its people — people full of strength, resilience, and hope.

CEIYEE Foundation exists to walk alongside these communities and be part of rebuilding lives, one child, one family, and one community at a time.

I believe that when people come together with compassion and faith, real transformation is possible.

In many rural areas, families continue to face serious challenges, including:

• Limited access to quality education
• Lack of clean and safe drinking water
• Poverty and unemployment
• Vulnerable children without adequate support

Despite these challenges, the people of Liberia continue to demonstrate extraordinary resilience and hope for a better future.

CEIYEE Foundation focuses its work in Liberia because of a deep personal connection to the country and a commitment to supporting communities that are often overlooked.

Our goal is not only to provide immediate support but also to empower communities through sustainable initiatives that create lasting change.
